Monday, June 23, 2014 | 6:30 - 8:30pm
The Sundance Institute Documentary Fund provides support for US and international documentary films that focus on current human rights issues, freedom of expression, social justice, civil liberties and exploring critical issues of our time. The Sundance Documentary fund provides funding annually across all stages of development, production, and post-production. Awards for Development are up to $20,000 and for Production/Post-Production, up to $50,000. Approximately 50-60 grants to filmmakers around the world each year. Join us for a conversation with Bruni Burres, senior consultant with the SDP, who will shed light on the application and answer your questions. More than 500 awards have supported documentary filmmakers in 61 countries globally - and this is your opportunity to find out how you can be one of those filmmakers. Next Sundance Doc Fund deadline is just around the corner on July 8, 2014.
