FAQs

Are there ID requirements for the event?

Each registered attendee must bring a government-issued ID for check-in or they will not be admitted into the secured building.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The SF Fed is located at 101 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 (between Spear & Main Streets).

  • We highly recommend public transportation in getting to the Fed.
  • We are easily accessible via BART and MUNI, as we are located directly above the Embarcadero station.

Parking: On own. Various parking garage/lot options are located closeby to the Fed (e.g., Embarcadero Center) and range in price from $27 to $44 per day.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

All visitors will be required to walk through the metal detector (magnetometer), and all carried items (briefcases, purses, backpacks, luggage) will be screened by the use of an x-ray machine including cell phones and all electronic devices. Items determined to be weapons will not be permitted (e.g., guns, knives, pepper spray, mace, etc.). Anyone found to be in possession of illegal weapons will be subject to arrest. Cameras are not permitted and will be held by Federal Reserve Police until your departure.

Please advise the FR Police Officer if you are unable to be screened through the magnetometer for medical reasons.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you do not need to bring your printed ticket to the event, however, you must bring government-issued photo ID that matches the name with which you registered for the event.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No, the name used to register must match the attendee name and government-issued photo ID name provided at event check-in.

Who can I contact with any additional questions?
