This web-based seminar for clinicians will move beyond the basics of TB management and focus on some of the challenging characteristics of TB presentation and manifestation which may complicate, and at times, delay diagnosis and treatment. Case examples will be included to illustrate these complexities. In addition, speakers will share experiences on how to manage such cases using existing resources.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This webinar is designed for physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals who are involved in the diagnosis and management of TB patients.
Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Identify atypical presentations of TB disease in order to recognize TB as a differential diagnosis
- Describe sources of consultation and assistance in managing challenging TB cases
- Elicit and consider a patient’s history and non-medical characteristics in the management of persons with TB

Registration will close on November 15 or when all slots have been filled.There is limited space for the webinar and acceptance will be on a first-comes, first served basis. Note that there is no limit to the number of participants at one location viewing from one room and computer. However, each site must identify a contact person to register, receive webinar information, and share the link to the online evaluation.
