Come join us for the kickoff of the Monthly McLaren Scholars Speaker Series. This speaker series was created as a way to enhance the academic learning and personal growth fostered in the classroom. This allows students the opportunity to augment their learning experience with engaging and through provoking speakers from the San Francisco Community.
This month we are featuring PD Thomas, Mr. Thomas brings 20 years of corporate administrative and strategic experience in Infrastructure Building, HR Strategy & Operations, Diversity Training, & Executive Management Consulting in both the private and public sector to this position. His public sector experience includes the State of New Jersey Business License Division and as a consultant with the FCC, FTC, EPA, and HUD. In the private sector he blends his entrepreneurial spirit as a small business owner, his account management history and Senior Executive Management experience with Fortune 100 companies across multiple industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, IT, Hospitality and Pharmaceutical, specializing in area of finance, human capital, business development and mergers and acquisitions.
His talk is titled: It's Not About You Yet: What Working for Yourself Really Means.
The talk begins promptly at 7pm so please arrive 10-15 minutes early.
