Mayor Menino's Greenovate Boston Launch and Award Ceremony
Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
Please join us for the 2013 Mayor’s Greenovate Boston Awards at Boston University's newest green building, Center for Student Services. Formerly known as the Mayor’s Green Awards, this year’s awards will reflect the adoption of Greenovate Boston, a collective movement and innovative approach to connect and motivate residents and businesses to take action in order to Mayor Menino’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 25 percent by 2020 and 80 percent by 2050. While the awards are in their seventh year, the Mayor will present this year’s on May 14 at a ceremony that will coincide with the announcement of Greenovate Boston’s ambitious goals for widespread community engagement.
