Methods and sample preparation will be discussed. Specific examples in defect and trace analysis for polymer and pharmaceutical materials are highlighted.

A wide range of spectroscopic sampling techniques will be presented. Includes reflectivity measurements of optical surfaces and coatings, chemical analysis of mono-layers, and automation to increase productivity.

Learn methodology and sample introduction for critical reflectance and transmission measurements are discussed. The accessories required to analyze these challenging samples will be discussed and example data will be presented to show the benefit of these approaches..

High Throughput Analysis of Common Thermoplastics

A demonstration of HyperDSC experiments completing in less than ten minutes as well as Auto Stepwise TGA measurements for decreased instrument time without a loss in data quality for polyolefins and polyamides.

2:15 - 3:00

Quantitative Analysis by FTIR

Choosing the correct mode of measurement as well as predictive method. Example techniques such ATR and NIRA will be demonstrated for the measurement of chemicals, polymers and pharmaceutical materials.
