Mastermundo is an informal gathering with nice people, talks, music and even a performance at night conducted by Itay Talgam. For free, in The Hague on 26 September.
It's that time of the year again. The September itch. The need for a new edition of Mastermundo. What makes it the third edition. Two years ago we had a first Mastermundo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/happykampics/sets/72157610715456336/). That was about passion. Last year, for the second edition (stills here http://www.flickr.com/photos/happykampics/sets/72157610693141222/ en video here http://vimeo.com/3116438 we had a mindblowing trip, starting in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, ending up in The Hague, with again a massive list of beautiful speakers. Amazing.
So what about this year? Mastermundo is above all a place to experiment to try out new stuff, be constantly uncomfortable (never the same thing the same way again) and have fun with a limited bunch of people. And, it would be nice if we can add meaning along the way and make this world a better place a bit by bit.
This year Mastermundo is all about improvisation. Why? Because it is the DNA of the project. The form of Mastermundo up to now has been shaped by available possibilities, places, people, a touch of luck, a lot of fun and contagious enthusiasm and little money. No different this year.
Goal for this year is to organize World's First Flashmob Open Air Rock Orchestra Spectacle on Saturday 26th September in The Hague. Featuring the renown conductor Itay Talgam. Including you. And we also invite some nice inspirational people for talks on the topic of improvisation.
Speakers will be announced soon!

The Big Idea
We have the Royal Academy of Art [KABK] as a nice place to work during daytime to create and prepare for World's First Flashmob Open Air Rock Orchestra Spectacle — which is a performance we make together during the day as a gift to the people (who will be enjoying the TodaysArt festival).
Jam sessions, try-outs and whatever happens will be mixed with talks by great people.
So, the day will be something like this, but check the website for the latest info.
We will start at 10am at the KABK. Itay will brief all musicians.
Break at 12.30 with a talk.
20.30 Transport/build up Spuiplein
22.30 World's First Flashmob Open Air Rock Orchestra Spectacle
23.00 the end > Enjoy the TodaysArt festival
The entire event will be recorded and made available afterwards.
