McAdory Lipscomb, Pitch Coach and Former Operating Partner, RRE Ventures
Two Part Workshop: Saturday, June 2nd, 1:00 - 3:00 pm & June 9th, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
You’ve spent months polishing the details on your product and now it’s time to let investors know why they should invest in you.
This 2-part workshop series will teach you to put your best foot forward. As with any great presentation, you must know your audience first. Not every VC firm is the same and they don’t all agree on what's the best looking pitch in the room.
We’ll start with what VCs look for. How do you differentiate? How do you gain traction? The group will jump into building an impactful pitch deck. And your homework between sessions will be to (re)construct your pitch deck for the next session.
In session two you will discover specific tweaks that will make you shine. We’ll hone your pitch by jumping into presentation nuts and bolts, edits and coaching. You will understand how your best performance will nail the CEO audition and turn your vision into a clearly defined story that leaves them begging for more.
The series has been created, developed and taught by McAdory Lipscomb, Jr. former CEO, VC partner (RRE Ventures), Angel Society (NY Angels) organization developer, Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator and Global IBM Smart Camp start up mentor.
General Assembly is a campus for technology, design, and entrepreneurship. We provide educational programming, space, and support to facilitate collaborative practices and learning opportunities across a community inspired by the entrepreneurial experience.
