Master Class: Voice Acting for Video Games

This two-day workshop will focus on specific techniques for those who want to work in voice acting for videogames. The contents will focus on how actors can create a structure that allows them to work with their strengths and grow them in the context of video games. Topics covered will include how to develop characters, how to do cold readings and acting out of context, microphone techniques and the basics of performance capture.
This workshop is specifically designed for actors; game writers and developers interested in working with actors are also welcome.
Attendees are required to bring in one paragraph of game copy, i.e. a text that they have prepared to perform behind the microphone. The workshop will take place from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of August.
