About our program
Companies in the dental, ophthalmic and medical aesthetic industry are pioneering the world of consumer-centric medicine, eschewing the traditional models of how medical device companies interact with customers. These companies are reaching past the physician and speaking directly to the customer, who is in most cases paying for services out of their own pocket.
As the provider community shifts away from fee-for-service models to cost-control measures such as bundled payment systems, the business model of the medical device industry must change too. Now, more than ever, device companies must look for new ways to reach an empowered patient. MassDevice is bringing together three CEOs of preeminent companies in each of these fields, including the inventor of the term medical aesthetics, Allergan CEO David Pyott for another evening of conversation among leaders at the MassDevice Big 100 West.
Join us as we peel back the curtain of the Medical Aesthetics Revolution and find out how the business of beauty can change the medical device industry.
What is the Big 100 Roundtable?
Check out some video from our most recent Big 100 Roundtable
Michael Mahoney, President, Boston Scientific
"The MassDevice Big 100 Roundtable West is a great opportunity for industry leaders to come together. As a featured guest at last year's event in Irvine, I was impressed with the quality of the conversation and the caliber of guests. Bringing together leaders to discuss the healthcare environment is essential to fostering community in the medical device industry. I go to many events but the MassDevice Big 100 Roundtable stands out as one of the best meetings our industry has to offer."
- Scott Huennekens, President & CEO Volcano Corporation, 2011 Big 100 West Panelist
