The Junior Committee of the Women’s Guild continues its largest annual fundraiser for the second year in its new form as a Masquerade! After a very successful previous year, the Masquerade event continues this year with a fabulous Spanish theme. In honor of season-opening opera of “Carmen”, the Junior’s Masquerade event will consist of a costume or cocktail attire event with Spanish-inspired entertainment, food & libations, and atmosphere.
This year’s Masquerade: Running With The Bulls will take place on Friday, September 19, 2014, at the New Orleans Opera Guild Home in the Garden District, from eight o’clock in the evening until midnight.
The evening will be graced with live music by the Treblemakers and an electric, Spanish inspired fashion show by NOLA Fashion week. Fashion Designer, Jose Luis Rodriguez will be featuring his Spanish-themed, cape-inspired collection for a fabulous, private showing at the Guild Home.
Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an exciting “Raffle Extravaganza” which will offer opportunities to win several amazing raffle packages: 2 tickets to opening night of Carmen (valued at $228); 1 night stay at the Hyatt (valued at $228); Dinner a Criollo (valued at $150); Brunch at the Columns (valued at $128); Tea at the Windsor Court (valued at $75); a spa gift certificate at the Ritz Carlton (valued at $228); and a Vivo Mask (valued at $39).
