Event Details

Whether you grew up by your Nonna’s knee or had your first ravioli from a can, we’d bet that you too are a pasta lover.  But how can you make the jump from dry, bland, boxed pasta to fresh, delicious pasta like you see in the best kitchens?  Fortunately, Brooklyn Brewery Chef Andrew Gerson learned the art of pasta from some of the finest pasta makers in Italy, spent years honing his skills, and is ready to welcome you to the pasta-making fold.

Join Chef Andrew as he takes you through each step of creating delicious pastas of all shapes and sizes,while correcting common mistakes and teaching you how to build a beautiful dish from the bottom up.  He’ll discuss the function of pasta shapes, which pastas work best with different sauces, and which beers work best with various pasta dishes. You’ll leave ready to throw on the apron and prove yourself a true pastaia, much to the excitement of your friends and family.
