Since landing at Gale Crater on August 5th 2012, the Mars Science Laboratory (Curiosity Rover) has been very busy. From the first successful use of the skycrane landing technique during EDL to snapping self-portraits and 360-degree panoramas, to performing countless science measurements, the knowledge gained so far has been nothing short of astounding. Join Lockeed Martin Propulsion Engineer, JPL Solar System Ambassador, and MSL descent stage engineer Adam Pender to discuss the technological achievements and science results from Curiosity’s two (Earth) years on Mars.
