This breathless evening is brought to you by MarketPlace: Handwork of India and will feature contemporary dance instruction by Gopi Engineer of the Meher Dance Company. In between encores, feast on Indian fare, drink delectable ambrosia, get henna art, and try your hand at bidding on fine silent auction items. You won't want to leave your dancing shoes at home.

MarketPlace: Handwork of India works with women artisans in inner-city Mumbai, not only in developing beautiful clothing sold in the US to benefit their livelihoods, but also on social programming aimed at improving their lives, their families, and their communities. The proceeds of this event will go toward the Armaan Club, a youth program providing resources including a summer camp for the children of the artisans.
