“For by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory.”
The faith of Christians is being silenced in the workplace. The Human Resource Departments of Corporate America are undermining the religious expressions of their employees and stripping them of their religious rights. Tragically, Christians are the main target of such attacks and are being forced to consent to mandates that undercut their religious convictions and freedoms. As a result, Christians feel helpless and afraid to speak up for fear of losing their jobs. Thus, Christians throughout the marketplace are seeking to be better informed and trained on how to share and defend their faith against the series of attacks they face in the corporate world on a daily basis.
The purpose of the quarterly “Marketplace Forum” is to gather Christians who are in the marketplace and offer a worldview forum that addresses the concerns and hot issues in the corporate world led by distinguished business experts. These forums are designed to embolden Christian businessmen and women to stand up for biblical truth, equip them to be knowledgeable about cultural and social issues, and teach them how to engage the marketplace for Christ.
To re|shift (return to the right position and purpose) how Christians ought to LIVE (Model Christ) - BLESS (Extend Christ) - SHARE (Proclaim Christ) in the workplace.
re|shift ministries and Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC) will build from the momentum of the quarterly forums and provide oversight in raising up Christians in the marketplace to share their faith, disciple coworkers, oversee bible studies, and give to help fund Kingdom purposes in the marketplace.
