He has maintained a strong committment to community involvment having led a group of Algonquin citizens to raise over $80,000 to build "Angeltowne Park" in Towne Park in Algonquin nearly 20 years ago. More recently he and his entire office team sets up and runs the "Children's Games" each year during Algonquin Founders Days, and he dresses up as the "Wizard of Teeth" each February to visit local schools to perform in the short play that he wrote of the same name.
