Securing Best Value: A New Approach Regarding Planning, Programming, and Acquisition
The Mitchell Institute invites you to a Mitchell Hour on March 27, as we host Major General Robert Kane - Director, Global Reach Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition-to offer his personal insights and perspective on ways to better align planning, budgeting, and acquisition processes to get the "best bang for the USAF buck." General Kane will suggest an alternate path forward, one that would integrate and improve the connection between these processes using a value-driven approach highlighting the need to understand what we value and link it with strategic vision, identify expanded trade-space and decision-space, and transparently market our future plans.
