Tampa SharePoint User Group is meeting once again.

 

The next meeting will be on March 26, 2013  6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Microsoft Offices in Tampa.

We have two events all happening on the same day .

The next Tampa SharePoint User Group meeting will be on March 26, 2013 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Microsoft Offices in Tampa.

 

SESSION(S):

 Blain Barton will shows us Server on Azure and then how to attach a Sharepoint install up there and make sure we all get a subscription to do it on our own.

Office 365 - What is it and Why should I care?

As Microsoft increases the functionality of this online environment, the popularity has increased exponentially. Come see how you can take advantage of this new paradigm using your current skills as well as some new ones. Working in the Cloud does have some challenges, but there are many ways to work within those parameters and add great value to your organizations implementation. We will look at the restrictions as well as some of the new tools to enable a successful deployment .

Gary has been in the IT industry for over 29 years, working with a variety of platforms and technologies. For the last 15 years he has focused exclusively on the Microsoft suite of tools, executing both small and large scale projects equally. His extensive experience with SharePoint includes architecting, developing and implementing deployments for up to 60,000 users worldwide in one client scenario. He is an MCTS in SharePoint, MOS in Office as well as an Microsoft Certified Trainer. He is so focused on the SharePoint product, his FL license plate reads SHRPNT

Women in SharePoint Tampa

will meet from
5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
in the same large room on the 7th floor of the
Microsoft Corporation Building
5426 Bay Center Drive, Tampa, FL.

 

We will use the time to get to know each other, talk about what we want from this opportunity, set up agendas or speakers for the next meetings, and start talking about volunteer opportunities for helping girls get started in technology or coding. Your ideas and suggestions are very needed.

 

Women in SharePoint is a national organization that began in Washington, DC. See their site at http://womeninsharepoint.org/SitePages/Home.aspx . Rima Reyes is President of the Federal Women in SharePoint group.
