March 2013 #DenverTweetup – DaVita Teams up with #DenverTweetup to Make Denver #KidneyAware
Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (MDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Join #DenverTweetup and @DaVita for real beer, real food and virtual people in support of kidney disease awareness. Enjoy making new Twitter connections, drink free craft beer and wine, all while taking in some of the best views of Denver and the mountains from DaVita’s top floor terrace.
While there, you’ll have the opportunity to have your photo displayed on possibly the largest Instagram photo wall you’ve ever seen. We’ll also have great prizes to give away and a local brewer pouring beer. You don’t want to miss this one.
Getting There, Parking, and Light Rail
DaVita’s World Headquarters is located next door to the light rail stop at Union Station, and at the very end of the 16th Street Mall, so please consider using public transportation or taking a taxi cab. If you need to drive, DaVita is providing free garage parking at the 1515 Delgany Garage.
If you are parking, you must follow these instructions to receive complimentary parking: 1) Enter the garage at 1515 Delgany (look for the DaVita logo above the entrance); 2) Remove a white parking stub and drive to the second level; 3) Look for the DaVita World Headquarters garage entry on your right; 3) Pull up to the gate and enter code #1144; 4) Ensure you receive a parking validation before you leave.

About Kidney Disease
One in ten U.S. adults over the age of 20 has chronic kidney disease, but most don’t know it because the disease typically shows no symptoms. Kidney disease is the 8th leading cause of death in the United States and develops when kidneys lose their ability to remove waste and maintain fluid and chemical balances in the body. Groups who are at high-risk of developing the disease include those with diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease as well as minorities and those with family history of kidney disease.
Know your risk, get tested, be #kidneyaware.
What would you like to know about your new neighbor?
