March 13 Bedded Pack Training
Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM (EDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Are you interested in using a bedded pack for your winter manure management? Wondering how much bedding you’ll need, what the costs will be, and how managing a pack works?
Attend one of these trainings, featuring compost specialist Brian Jerose and other partners to help you understand how to build and maintain a pack to meet your needs. The day will also include calculations for bedding, building and costs; NRCS requirements to receive funding; animal health; and a Q&A with a farmer experienced in managing a pack. If you plan to sign up for the NRCS bedded pack cost share this year, you MUST attend one of these trainings.
If you require accessibility accommodations to participate in this program, please let Jenn Colby, (802) 656-0858 know by February 20, 2013 so we may assist you.
