Father and daughter would like to invite you to a wonderful night of the musical sounds of Chilean folk and most popular South American songs.
Marcelo has been a guitarist for more than 40 years performing with many popular artists especially during “La Nueva Ola” in the 70’s in Chile. Maria Loreto has been singing in the Bay Area for the last 7 years and has been part of wonderful events at The Palace of Fine Arts in SF, La Peña Cultural Center, the Brava Theater, Dance Mission Center, Red Poppy Art House, Mission Cultural Center just to mention a few.
Debuting together at La Peña, Marcelo and Maria Loreto promise a delightful night.
La Peña is a community cultural center with a national reputation and a global vision that promotes peace, social justice and cultural understanding through the arts, education and social action.

Annually, La Peña presents over 200 events with emerging and established artists; organizes an arts education program; produces new works by local artists, presents internationally and nationally renowned artists, and houses a Latin American cafe which complements the organization's mission.
