GIGAOM RESEARCH MAPPING SESSION: SELECTING YOUR CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE IN EUROPE
*You must be registered for Structure:Europe to attend this event
The market for cloud infrastructure in Europe is becoming more rich and more complex every day. Big international players like Amazon and Google continue to extend their offerings inside the EU, as European telcos such as Deutsche Telekom and Orange transition from running managed data centres toward full-featured cloud products. In individual European countries, and across regions such as Scandinavia and the Benelux, smaller providers make a good living simply servicing their local clients. The spectre of America's PATRIOT Act, and recent revelations around PRISM, raise valid concerns regarding data security, but also fan the flames of anti-US sentiment.
A number of disruption vectors are clearly at play in Europe, affecting the prospects of different providers of cloud infrastructure here. Join GigaOM Pro analysts René Büst, Paul Miller, and Jon Collins for a highly interactive discussion to explore and identify the key issues for the coming year.

What happens in a Mapping Session? We tap the collective wisdom of our analysts and other thought leaders in the market sector we are researching in order to identify the most disruptive trends and their relative importance in shaping a market or industry over the next 12 to 24 months. We also examine which companies are in the best and worst positions to drive these trends — which we call disruption vectors — and gain market share and revenue.
