Map Your Neighborhood Train the Facilitator Session
Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (PST)
Neighbors who work together as a team to prepare for disasters save lives, reduce the severity of injuries and trauma, and reduce property damage. In addition, working together as a team and contributing as an individual develops stronger communities and improves the quality of life in the community.
Join us to learn more about what to do after you’ve prepared your home and family for a disaster. Odds are, in a major event, you and those closest to you will be the first responders. Map Your Neighborhood is a program designed to help neighborhoods prepare for disasters.
This meeting is intended to train ordinary residents interested in bringing the Map Your Neighborhood Program back to their communities and hosting a session themselves. Those interested in becoming facilitators or just learning more should attend.
We have a limited number of seats available for this location. Please RSVP early to secure a spot.
