We encourage manufacturers to host a Community Day Open House to welcome the public for a plant tour and observe operations first-hand. This is the type of event that forms the backbone of Manufacturing Day! Please see this brief video for more information (click here).
A plant tour can also be staged as a more elaborate event, with structured activities such as equipment demonstrations, hands-on exhibits, speeches, and question-and-answer sessions.
SBTDC-West Plains will offer support to manufacturers in our seven county service area (Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas and Wright counties) that would like to participate in an open house event.
