Making Tofu with Hodo Soy Beanery
Take a tour of Hodo Soy Beanery in Oakland, CA where they produce artisanal tofu, yuba noodles, and soymilk plus delicious prepared foods. You'll learn how to make your own homemade tofu using freshly made soymilk while tasting the delicious offerings of the Beanery. Participants leave with a SoyaJoy tofu kit, complete with a handcrafted wooden tofu box and cotton pressing cloth.

Minh Tsai, Founder of Hodo Soy Beanery and Tofu Master will be your instructor for the evening. His passion for freshly made tofu is palpable and he, along with his staff will teach you about the art and science of making delicious tofu. You'll learn how to make fresh soy milk and to press your own tofu at home!
