Making Momos at Little Tibet Restaurant
Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EST)
New York, NY
The area around the Jackson Heights train station has emerged itself as the Himalayan Heights, with many new stores and restaurants popping up from Nepal and Tibet. The most famous and popular dish in this area is clearly the Momo - a Himalayan-style dumpling which is slowly taking over the east and west hemisphere.
The husband and wife team from Little Tibet will teach you how to make momos, with an interactive demonstration and tour of the kitchen. Following the training will be our Ambassador Dinner, where the chefs choose our meal for us, showing off their best dishes and introducing us to the cuisine - for more information on the Ambassador, see http://iwantmorefood.com/ambassador/
This is an UYE (Unofficial Yelp Event) - Created in conjunction with the Yelp's Passport to Jackson Heights - a week full of activities spotlighting businesses in Jackson Heights.
