Event Details

Fromage blanc is a fresh cultured cheese that’s easy to make at home using just a mason jar and cheese cloth. Of French origin, its name simply means, "white cheese", and it makes an excellent spread with herbs and spices or may be used like cream cheese or ricotta.

Lindsay Harris of Family Cow Farmstand will teach us the art of making fromage blanc using raw milk from her small Hinesburg dairy. 

$5 for City Market Members, $10 for non-members
