MakersClub: Game Design: Kids Registration

Like movie making, game design involves a lot of complicated processes, from programming the environment and character abilities to inventing the levels and point systems. These parts of game design and more will be covered in this 11 week course, using the game design software GameMaker. Your child will have the chance to work in a small group setting to discover more about the fascinating world of gaming. Participants walk away with both a Gamemaker file and an executable file. For kids ages 9-12.
Time: Tuesdays, January 15th - March 19th, 2013
Kids Session from 3: 15 pm - 4:45 pm
Price: Paid in installments of $150 every five weeks.
When & Where
MakersFactory is a new educational maker space in downtown Santa Cruz, CA, where students of all ages will learn and use exciting new technology for 3D printing, modeling, animation, and robotics. MakersFactory students will be able to design, prototype, and manufacture a wide variety of items, from simple 3D objects to complex mechanical/electronic products.
