Make Your Own Mozzarella and Burrata with The Milk Maid
Louella Hill, aka The San Francisco Milk Maid, is teaming up with UKSF and CUESA again to bring back one of our most popular classes of 2012 - Make Your Own Mozzarella and Burrata. Burrata is a cream-filled mozzarella you'll find in restaurants and specialty stores all over town. Participants will learn the technique of stretching mozzarella, and will also get creative with the cream filling. They will leave with their homemade cheese, as well as ingredients and tips on how to recreate the experience at home.
This will be Part 1 of a 3-part cheese series with Ms. Hill, so look out for more details on Part 2 in March: Queso Blanco and Part 3 in April: Chevre. Participation in all classes is not required, but heavily encouraged!

Louella Hill, known locally as The San Francisco Milk Maid, has been milking goats, chasing sheep, and stirring curds for over a decade. She brings her cheesemaking experience to your home or business with on-site classes. Recently honored by Best of the Bay as our local "Curd Crussaider," her classes leave you full of cheesemaking enthusiasm.
Please note UKSF's cancellation policy: Refunds are available if notice is given 48 hours prior to the event. There are no refunds after that point, but you're welcome to pick up any materials and supplies handed out in class. Please be sure to email email@example.com *before* class to ensure that your items are held for you. Without advanced notice, we may not be able to save everything. Please make sure to pick it up by the Saturday following the class as materials tend to be perishable.
