B.I.G. - Hoffman Estates Presents

with Marina Collazo of Restoration Coalition

Marina Collazo, "networking goddess" and owner of Restoration Coalition, loves to share her networking knowledge and experience to help other women. She is frequently asked to speak on this topic, as well as, teach workshops on LinkedIn.

As a business owner, Marina uses her relationship building skills, along with her background in insurance, to develop contacts that will help her clients through disaster issues. She spent 8 weeks in New Orleans, after hurricane Katrina, learning 1st hand how to help people in a disaster. In 2007, determined to be an advocate for the client, while keeping claims and costs down, she developed a strategy to bring together the best contractors from all industries, and started Restoration Coalition. Whether your loss is large or small, residential, commercial or institutional - anywhere in the country she has the right people for the job!

Marina is a single mom of two beautiful young women. She is very involved with her community and with the senior community. She sits on the board of her local Chamber of Commerce and is an Ambassador for many other groups and associations. She is a very active member of Rotary and volunteers and supports her church and multiple charitable organizations.

Have you ever walked into a room full of people, with the intention of networking, and been instantly overwhelmed? Do you believe that the people who "make it look easy" have some special talent that you don't share? Networking, in some fashion or another, is a part of daily life. Whether you are looking for a job or looking for more clients, it requires building a good rapport. Networking is an integral part of that process. Learn how to make your networking efforts count!
