Sourcing: The industry-standard fees payable for sourcing deals are 2% of the purchase price (Paul has paid up to 5% for the right deal) and most sites are worth well in excess of £1 million, so a very basic site would pay YOU – £20,000 …and on a more typical purchase (certainly in London and the South East) of £5m a 2% fee = £100,000
