Taste of Compassion is a monthly fundraising and community outreach event supporting hunger and homeless services provided by West Valley Community Services (WVCS). The Taste of Compassion is a non-event fundraising event. There are no appeals or speeches—it’s just a nice night out for a good cause. People sit with whoever they want—their friends, their own guests, etc. They talk and visit as the would at any restaurant. All people really need to participate in Taste of Compassion is an appetite, a desire to do good for others, and a willingness to try new restaurants or revisit favorite ones. It’s that simple.
