Grant M. Sadler--A brief bio
Mr. Sadler started his career in dental group management as a partner is Clay Sadler Associates (CSA), a practice management company that built and managed dental practices starting in 1971. CSA built a number of dental group practices during the period Mr. Sadler was a partner. One of those practices was Riverside Dental Group, built from the consolidation of 4 solo practices which quadrupled its revenue in a 4 year period by the time Mr. Sadler left the group in 1978. Later on in his career Mr. Sadler played a key role in the development of a turn-key dental practice management system, Quality Systems, Inc., which dominates the dental group practice industry today. This led to the development of GMS Dental Group, Inc. which was started with a $31M venture capital investment in 1996. Via acquisition, mergers and same store growth, it grew from $20M in revenue to $350M in revenue in a 4 year period (1996 – 2000). The company went public in 1997 and has since gone back to being a private company. Mr. Sadler was the founder, President/CEO of GMS Dental Group, Inc. and played key roles in the development (acquisitions) and growth of the company. After several merges, acquisitions and sale of the East Coast Division, the company today is known as InterDent, Inc. with 126 locations in 8 western states producing $200M+ in patient level revenue. InterDent was recently purchased by H.I.G. Capital, a large equity capital group with over $10 Billion of capital under management. As president of Group Management Services, Inc. (GMS) Mr. Sadler has again acquired dental group practices, including 3 in Houston, Texas which has now grown to 8 locations in Houston, 1 location in Dallas and growing. The GMS Texas development plan includes additional offices in Houston and Dallas. The offices are known as The GMS Dental Centers of Excellence. Mr. Sadler is the founder and board member of the GMS Smile Foundation, a member of the board of directors for the La Sierra University Foundation and Chairman of the Business Legends organization in Houston, Texas.
