Why you should attend.
Your website is a key component of your organization's marketing and communication strategy. It's an opportunity to engage with your current clients, members, and donors, but also provides a unique opportunity to spread your organizations influence well beyond known parties of interest.

Your website presents your organization, small or large from your neighborhood to the world. It can be used to increase event attendance, engage donors, gain subscribers, members, and even sell products and services. It can help sustain your organization, measure your progress, as well as keep you moving on the road towards mission fulfillment.

Web Analytics with Google Analytics, II  is the second in our mini-series on Google Analytics. It is designed to move you pass the basics of web analytics, by giving you a better understanding of the tools and concepts for looking at your data and using it to further you mission, goals, marketing, and or sales and donations.

The discussion will cover:

  1. Filtering
  2. Measuring Engagement
  3. Segmenting
  4. Conversions
  5. Analytics Intelligence

We'll focus on how to get a good set of basic data, by using filters and profiles; then move to understanding and measuring engagement metrics to improve your knowledge of your visitors, then delve into ways to segment, convert and otherwise interact with your audience, while building stronger insights and solidifying your website's design.

Wednesday, 20 April 2011, MadTech will dive Analytics with Google Analytics with you. This is an intermediated level presentation designed for individuals with some basic awareness of web analytics and techniques.

This meeting is being held jointly with "Web Design & Development Meetup" group.

This is MadTech's standard 3rd Wednesday of the month meeting at Goodman Community Center.

Pizza and Soda will be served.
