Made.In. Miami is the Fashion Design Expo exclusively dedicated to emerging Miami & Broward Designers. 8 finalists will receive facility work space, equipment, models,photographers,publicity,etc. MIM gives designers an opportunity to connect with the seasoned and up -and- coming in their industry. Finalists will present a fashion show of their work. One grand jury winner will receive flight & accommodation to NYC Couture Fashion Week 2015, expenses paid for by Made.In.Miami.
Made.In.Miami Fashion Show, along with educational workshops, will take place the 10th of May 2014, from 2-8pm at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC). AHCAC is located at 6161 NW 21 Avenue, Miami, Fl 33147 (free parking in lot and along street).
Submissions are now being accepted. Early entry is December 22nd - February 28th ($40).
Late Entry begins March 1st – March 16th ($60). The 8 Finalists that will make up the Official Designers of Made.In.Miami and will be chosen by a jury to be announced on the 31st of March.

Ashlee K. thomas
Ashlee K. Thomas is no stranger to the arts. With a degree in marketing from the Florida State University, she boasts a combined 20 years in performance art, event production, and marketing – she is excited to bring her wealth of experience back to her home town, Miami, Florida. Ashlee has produced and performed in Los Angeles California for 6 years before taking an international leap to 6 different countries including Trinidad, Guyana, Dominican Republic, and Australia to name a few. While in Australia, Ashlee co-founded and served as Festival Director of Melbourne WebFest 2013, the first international festival in Australia exclusively dedicated to web series. Ashlee has a passion for art and providing opportunities for the emerging creator. Returning to Miami and seeing the artistic boom that has developed since her 10 year sojourn, she is enthralled and excited to jump head first in doing what she does best, creating opportunities for artists and putting on a show.
