LUTHER makes his first visit to Folsom Street on September 22. LUTHER is the combined underground powerhouse of P-Play (Honey Soundsystem SF), Mark Louque (Fag Bash, Provincetown), Ryan Smith (Wrecked, NYC) and Bil Todd (RAW, DC). Luther's stop in San Francisco brings to a close a busy year of throwing raucous parties for leather events around the country, from a speakeasy backroom in Brooklyn during Black Party Weekend to U Street Music Hall in DC for MAL, as well as headlining the San Francisco Party at this years IML in Chicago.
Collectively, the quartet hold court in their respective cities, but together wave their own twisted queer underground flag throughout the U.S. and Europe. They have shared the decks with acts such as London's Horse Meat Disco and Berghain's Boris, took charge of the dark room at the Saint At Large Black Party and manned the decks at BUTT Magazine events in NY, SF and London. Together, their deep sounds, rooted in vintage and bleeding-edge house and techno, brings a modern twist to the leather circuit.
Give LUTHER control; you'll beg for more.
