Lunch with Punch Networking
Financially assisted by
Lunch with Punch is a monthly networking event focused on fostering professional relationships and providing practical applications specifically tailored for business owners. Unlike other events that attempt to generate sales leads or with general networking for everyone, Lunch with Punch was created with content and topics especially picked for business owners, giving entrepreneurs and small business professionals a chance to network with their peers. This event offers every participant an opportunity to highlight their business services, but it also allows for discussion of best practices, mistakes, pitfalls, and tips for how to run your business.
This month's topic: The Myth of Business Grants
You've seen the ads: remember Matthew Lesko in the question mark suit? He's still around selling his more than twenty books dedicated to giving you the inside information on how to get business grants. Lesko isn't the only one—there are several sources that claim to have the information you need for government funding, and they'll give it to you for a low, low price. So how do you discern fact from fiction? Are there government grants available? Get answers to this and other common funding questions with our business counselor, Tom Heinz, and talk about your experiences with fellow business owners!
