Building a Career One Experience at a Time - Martha Karlovic is currently the Vice President & General Manager with Metters, Incorporated. She has over a decade of experience in international security and intelligence, information systems and biometrics. Martha has worked in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Southwest Asia and Southeast Asia as well as within the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and Department of State. She is an established business development expert, program manager and relationship builder working across continents and languages. Martha work has involved leading major brands including SAIC, WISER, and KBR. She is also actively involved in multiple professional associations. Martha serves as a Board Member on the Women’s High Technology Coalition (Washington, DC), Board Member on Winning Women (St. Louis, MO), Chair & Founder of the Industrial Committee for Biometrics (NDIA), Homeland Security Executive Board (NDIA), member of the Homeland Defense & Security Business Council, US-ASEAN Business Council, Iraq Women Business Owners Mentorship Committee and Conference Co-Chair (Women In Defense), Homeland Security Roundtable, Homeland Security Dialogue Forum, Women in International Security and Business Executives for National Security. Additionally, she works with the French Embassy within the YESS (Young Engineering Scientists Symposium) as a biometric Subject Matter Expert. Central Florida SWE
The Central Florida Section of the Society of Women Engineers is a section of the National SWE organization serving Central Florida. The primary purpose of SWE is to help girls and women become aware of the opportunities available to them in engineering and engineering-related careers.
