Event Details

On Thursday, November 14th, from 12- 1 PM, Luz-Maria Lopez and James Breaux will give a slide presentation and discuss their exhibit, "On the Wing - Birds & Spirits" which will be on display from November 1st - 30th.

We have always enjoyed watching birds in our back yard but, since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and the resultant scattering and decimation of the local bird population, it demonstrated to us, without our having realized it, how important they were to our enjoyment of everyday life. with the growth of the local population, birds, and the spirit of birds, began showing up in, and becoming part of, our work.
HRAC's Lunch Lecture Series is presented in collaboration with Creative Louisiana on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 12 - 1 pm.
Bring your bag lunch to the Arts Center for some interesting talk topics during our Lunch Lecture Series.
