LUNAFEST: Seattle Art Museum

Girl Power Hour invites you to help us celebrate women locally and nationally this holiday season with LUNAFESTSeattle. This event will include a Girl Power Hour style cocktail reception and viewing of the films.You will enjoy nine inspiring short films by women filmmakers for women that will tug at your heartstrings and inspire you to make a difference in your community. Proceeds from this event will benefit Reel Grrls and The Breast Cancer Fund.
Attendees will experience a red-carpet evening filled with networking and more. The reception, taking place immediately before the film premier will include: astrology readings, henna, appetizers, wine, door prizes, entertainment, photo opportunities, live DJ and, swag bags handed out after the film.

WHERE: Seattle Art Museum, PLEASE ENTER AT HAMMER MAN ENTRANCE. Event will be held in that front lobby.

You must be +18 to attend the event.
Where do I park?
Street meter parking or parking at the Russell Investment Center Garage.
Entrance is below the SAM Building on Union Street Between First and Second Avenues.
The parking is open 6am to 10pm.

There will be no refunds for this event. Proceeds go to Breast Cancer and Reel Grrls.
How will seating for the film work?
Seating will be first come first serve. Please let us know if you need special seating accomadations.
Every woman has a story. LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for and about women. This season, our film program – filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor – will travel to over 150 cities and screen in front of 20,000 people. Each year, various organizations bring LUNAFESTs to their communities and raise funds for their local non-profits as well as our main beneficiary - the Breast Cancer Fund.
