LUNAFEST: Chapel Hill, benefitting Girls on the Run of the Triangle
Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 6:30 PM (EDT)
Chapel Hill, NC
Join us for the second annual Girls on the Run LunaFest event, sponsored by TrySports! Guests will enjoy a delicious southern dinner by Top of the Hill, desserts, and some fantastic raffle prizes! The event will showcase the intriguing 2014 LunaFest short films. The award-winning films are each made by women and are about issues which affect women today.
LunaFest benefits Girls on the Run of the Triangle, a character development program for girls 8-12 that uses running as a way to introduce healthy and positive lifestyle choices. We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
LunaFest specifically raises money for the GOTR Scholarship Program, which provides financial assistance for girls to be able to participate in Girls on the Run. In 2013, 27% of our particiapants received a full or partial scholarship. Our goal is to continue to never turn a girl away from participating in GOTR because of financial need.
General Admission and VIP tickets are both available. A VIP ticket includes reserved seating and a VIP gift bag. We look forward to seeing you at LunaFest on May 28th at the Great Room at Top of the Hill! Thank you for your support of Girls on the Run of the Triangle.

Every woman has a story. LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for and about women. This season, our film program – filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor – will travel to over 150 cities and screen in front of 20,000 people. Each year, various organizations bring LUNAFESTs to their communities and raise funds for their local non-profits as well as our main beneficiary - the Breast Cancer Fund.
In order to purchase these tickets in installments, you'll need an Eventbrite account. Log in or sign up for a free account to continue.
