Event Details

Lower Topanga State Park Restoration: Native plants are working hard (growing almost like Jack’s beanstalk) to bring a natural eco-balance to the lower Topanga Creek area of the park. But they need a boost – Join Mountains Restoration Trust and TreePeople to care for the native plants and remove the invasive, non-native ones. Receive community service credit.

Great Fun for Kids and Families! Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian.

What to Bring: Bring a snack, water, sunscreen and/or hat, and wear sturdy footwear. Prepare to get dirty. Gloves and tools will be provided but you may bring your own work gloves if desired.

Registration is Required: Registered volunteers will receive an email confirmation with more details.

Directions and Parking: Entrance is a few hundred feet NORTH of the Pacific Coast Highway on Topanga Canyon Road. Park along the wide dirt shoulder and look for TreePeople signage.

Have more questions? Contact us at events@mountainstrust.org or call MRT Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm at (818) 591-1701 ext. 0.

Please note: To facilitate coordination between MRT and TreePeople, we need to share your email address with TreePeople. However, we will ONLY share it with TreePeople and no one else.
