Low End Theory returns to San Francisco on Friday, December 2 with DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill, Teebs, Shortkut, NastyNasty, Ages and residents Daddy Kev, DJ Nobody and MC Nocando.

Known throughout the world as the DJ and producer for legendary West Coast rap crew Cypress Hill, DJ Muggs is responsible for much of the stoned sonics that propelled the group to multi-platinum status. Producing all of Cypress Hill’s hits, from “Insane in the Membrain” to “Dr. GreenThumb,” DJ Muggs continues to influence hip hop culture through his Soul Assassins radio show, numerous collaborations and limited live performances.

Joining the lineup is producer/painter/skateboarder Teebs, who comes from the Brainfeeder family with a brilliant palette of beats. His latest release Collections 01 is described by Pitchfork as “effortlessly gorgeous ruminations on hip-hop expressed through thermal updrafts, babbling brooks, and cracking twigs.”

Further slicing the night is turntablist Shortkut of the Invisibl Skratch Piklz and World Famous Beat Junkies. Frite Nite’s NastyNasty returns home to the Bay Area to douse the dance floor with a sickening set of grubby bangers, and Los Angeles’ Ages brings fresh crispy beats to the party. Completing the lineup are Low End Theory residents Daddy Kev, DJ Nobody and MC Nocando, who always come correct and deliver solid sets of sweet bass devastation.
