Join us for a different yoga experience, atop Topanga Lookout! The class is a benefit for Mountains Restoration Trust, a nonprofit preserving wildlands in the Santa Monica Mountains.
On Sunday, April 14, we'll meet at the top of Stunt Road. Join the magnificent Sri Hari Moss from Yoga Upstairs, Agoura Hills, for an easy 20-30 minute hike up Topanga Lookout Trail, with its phenomenal mountain views. There, we'll settle in for an hour-long lively flow class under the sky. We'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Cold Creek Canyon, Calabasas Peak, and more as we connect with the nature surrounding us!
PARK: We meet at the top of Stunt Road. It's the intersection of Stunt Road, Saddle Peak Road, and Schueren Road, where street parking is available. Take a moment and enjoy the ocean view!
HIKE: 20-30 minutes. About a mile. Elevation gain about 400 feet.
DRESS/EQUIPMENT: Bring mats & props you might need. Dress in layers as the weather is unpredictable. Wear sunscreen & bring water.
REGISTRATION: Donations to MRT are accepted! Suggested donation is $10.
CONFIRMATION/CANCELLATION: Once you register, you'll receive an email confirmation with event details. Please note the event will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
SUPPORTING MRT: Donations to MRT are accepted! Mountains Restoration Trust is a local nonprofit, working to protect the mountains. MRT preserves open land, restores areas including parkland & trails, and offers educational programs for kids and the community.
Come on out, please tell your friends, and help keep our mountains beautiful! Thank you, and hope to see you Sunday, April 14.
