Lobster on The Green
Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (PDT)
On Saturday, September 14, 2013, The Rotary Club of Fallbrook and The Rotary Club of Fallbrook Foundation will host our 10th annual Lobster on the Green at the elegant Grand Traditions Estate and Gardens in Fallbrook, CA. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we appreciate your generous donation by way of ticket purchase, silent or live auction item donation or sponsorship. Hors d'oeuvres and full service bar will be available during the silent auction, followed by a four-course dinner including salad, steak & lobster and desert. Dinner entertainment will include exciting live auction and light music.
With over 100 non-profit organizations, Fallbrook is indeed a community-minded town and being a part of The Rotary Club of Fallbrook is a wonderful way to serve on a local and international level. This year, The Rotary Club of Fallbrook Foundation is actively supporting the Foundation for Senior Care (providing free transportation and care advocacy for local seniors), the Fallbrook Music Society (supports free music education in local schools), the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance (providing free care and maintenance of road medians and local parks), the Fallbrook Arts Inc, (providing art exhibitions, classes for children and adults, and public art) and Holy Innocents Children’s Hospital (the only pediatric hospital in Uganda).
The Rotary Club of Fallbrook was chartered in 1946. We have a proud history of serving our community and beyond. Having sponsored two clubs in our immediate area, Rotary Club of Fallbrook Village and Rotary Club of Bonsall, we are the largest club in our area and one of the largest clubs in the San Diego District. As part of an international not-for-profit organization with 1.2 million members, the Rotary Foundation’s mission is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The Rotary Foundation has earned a grade of A+ from the American Institute of Philanthropy, a top rating of four stars from Charity Navigator, and full accreditation from the Wise Giving Alliance of the Better Business Bureau. More than 90% of The Rotary Foundation's expenditures go to programs. Only 2.3 percent of its expenditures go to administrative expenses and 7.3 percent to fundraising.
