The Leadership Long Beach Class of 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008 are having a joint Reunion gathering (20-, 15-, 10- and 5-year anniversaries) to relate the Leadership Long Beach experience of principled leadership, connections and the impact on the community at "Reunions & Reflections", Thursday, November 7 from 6 - 8 PM at the Nino's Italian Restaurant at 3853 Atlantic Avenue in Bixby Knolls (updated/new location).
Overall, four class years (1993, 1998, 2003, and 2008) will have their chance to be in the spotlight at this alumni event. This reunion event is a great way for our alumni to continue to connect with one another, plus generate their own ideas for their upcoming reunion event plans.
Everyone is welcome and we invite you to make a donation to the organization at the door; suggested donation is $20 per person. Please RSVP through the Eventbrite site. Refreshments and light food will be available.
When & Where
Leadership Long Beach
Leadership Long Beach was founded in 1989 by some of our community’s most influential and visionary stakeholders. These founders envisioned the formation of a civic improvement program that would serve the community by developing and motivating leaders on issues important to the future and sustainability of our city. The leaders developed by the Leadership Long Beach program have shared experiences, associations and values that enable them to set imaginative, yet realistic goals, and achieve them through coordinated and effective strategies. Leadership Long Beach has principled leadership programs – Leadership Long Beach Institute, Youth Leadership Long Beach and BoardMatch – and also offers continual leadership and networking opportunities throughout the year.
With 25 years of history, Leadership Long Beach is a community leadership program designed to develop community leaders by increasing their knowledge of the Long Beach community and creating networks of individuals who can help each other solve community challenges. Leadership Long Beach has over 1000 graduates from their programs and has contributed more than 100 community service projects to strengthen Long Beach.
