Living Life Like It’s Golden: Resiliency Conference for Girls, is a free event for girls 11-18 years of age who want to "live life like its golden" and to help make the city of Dayton a better place for girls to live and grow. The day long conference will include great speakers, activities and workshops. Breakfast and lunch provided. The conference is free, but registration is required.
The Living Life Like It's Golden: Resiliency Conference is part of the “Keeping African American Communities Safe for Black Girls,” initative funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Youth Services and the Rise Sister Rise Research Study, to raise awareness about violence against girls in the North Riverdale and Westwood neighborhoods.
