"Riding It Out with Liver Disease" with Special Guest Chris Klug
The 2013 Liver Symposium is an opportunity for patients, families and community members to come together to be inspired, connect with others and learn more about life with liver disease. Chris Klug, an Olympic Snowboarder who underwent a liver transplant for Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis in July 2000, will kick off the event with how he was able to “Ride It Out With Liver Disease” and go on to win a Bronze Medal at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
There is NO COST to attend this event.

Babysitting is available for children ages 8 and under but, reservations must be made in advance when registering online. Drop-off is from 9:30-45 a.m. at the "Creative Play Center" on the first floor of the hospital.
Our 11,000 square foot Conference Center is located above the cafeteria on the second floor, just south of the Surgery Center. To get here, take the main elevators to the second floor and head towards the front of the hospital. Seven conference rooms and the auditorium surround the lobby and outdoor deck.
