Update 2010-01-22 (6:00am EST)

Good Morning, Afternoon Evening.

Thanks for participating in Live Online SharePoint Saturday EMEA. This is a "warm up" note to tell you how SPSEMEA is going to work.

There will be three (3) simultaneous sessions running each hour. I have created three instances of Live Meeting, calling each instance a "Channel". The schedule for each Channel will be posted a little later today on EndUserSharePoint.com, on EventBrite where you registered and on SharePointSaturday.org/emea. You will choose a channel each hour. You are welcome to switch back and forth between channels.

The first session starts at 8:00am GMT (London). Joel Oleson and I will do the intros together and then present a short keynote talk to get everthing started. That will be done on Channel 1. Everyone should log into Channel 1 for the first session of the day.

Location: Please register to receive the URL for the event.

There is no password needed, so leave that field blank. You might be asked for an email address and a company name. Fill in the details, if requested, and you'll be moved into the Channel.

In order to hear the presentations, you will need speakers or headphones. THERE IS NOT CONFERENCE CALL DIAL IN NUMBER since this is an internation event. Everything will be done over your computer.

Please keep an eye on EndUserSharePoint.com and follow me on twitter (@EUSP) for up to the minute updates. I'll be posting the final schedule for all three Channels within the next few hours.

Sincerely, thanks for participating in this event. There are sure to be glitches along the way since this is a nine hour session, but we'll try our best to make the presentation process as transparent as possible.

Looking forward to a great event.
Mark Miller (United States)
Toni Frankola (Croatia)
Eric Harlan (United States)
Isaac Stith (Denmark)
Dux Raymond Sy (United States)

Update: 2009-12-28

The first channel of speakers have been announced. There are 12 countries represented, including six MVPs. If you haven't registered, it's only going to get better from here. Joel Oleson and I, Mark Miller, will be doing the introduction and keynote and then we'll get the sessions started. As we finalize the exact sessions for the speakers, we'll publish the time schedule.

Please help us by spreading the word about the SPSEMEA. We'd like to get over 1000 people registered for the live online event by the middle of January. If you have a blog or a SharePoint email list, your support will be greatly appreciated.
