Greetings Parents of Babies/Toddlers/Preschoolers.
LA Makerspace is in the process of deciding how to build the space out and needs your input!
Where oh where should our fine young makers hangout when we are working on stuff that their little hands aren't quite ready to handle?
We have some ideas but in order to figure it out we need you and your small children to be in the space to discuss what will work and what won't work. How many kids can we have in the space while letting others work on their projects, etc.
In addition we can discuss timing for starting our Little Engineers club where you and your kids can come in and learn about STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Math) through play.
The Blue Line Grand Station at Washington and Grand is 2 blocks away, there are several bus stops within a block as well.
Take the 101 South (Ventura Freeway) to the 110 South (Harbor Freeway) to the 10 East (Santa Monica Freeway). Take the Grand Avenue exit, proceed to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway. Pass Washington Blvd. The L.A. Mart is on the right (1933 S. Broadway).
**Look for the Big Wooden Chair!**
Recommend parking on the street. Tons of parking spaces but $10.00 – Monday through Sunday, $5 after 5pm, plenty of street parking, meters as applicable.
On the weekends the main doors are closed. Proceed to the left of the main doors to the Employee entrance. Buzz the security button. You will be let in. Tell Security that you are going to LA Makerspace on the 11th floor.
